I want to change the world

I want to change the World", what a powerful statement! Have you ever stopped and thought about trying to? The world is big and sometimes it feels intimidating to even try to make a dent in it. But when you come across someone who does, the energy that radiates from them is infectious.

These words were spoken from "Wish Kid" Sierra and her sister, Emalena at The Make A Wish Gala at Mohegan Sun last week. At such a young age they understand what it truly means to pay it forward. They experienced the power of what a wish can do and how it can change your outlook on life. That night their foundation Childhood Cancer Kids, Inc  presented a check for $10,000 to another young girl with a life threatening condition, who's wish is to go to the 2016 Summer Olympics. Their vision and spirit inspires me.

We can make a difference if we try. I believe it's within all of us. When we set our mind on reaching a goal with passion and unwavering belief, it is all possible! But if changing the World is to big and lofty of an idea, then think about just changing someones World. Just like, Emalena and Sierra changed mine!

Much Love,
Charlie

I got to play my song "This Wish" for the first time for Sierra and her family that night. She sat in the middle of the dance floor and gazed up at me with a beautiful smile on her face. It was a magical moment!  I'm proud to say together we all helped to raise close to $100,000 for Make A Wish
