Afternoon!
This past Saturday I went to the Jason Mraz concert. Before the concert I did some tail-gating with my girl and met some really great people. Out of all the spaces in the parking lot you get to choose from to park your car, sometimes you are just drawn to certain spots and certain people. Well this day we met two really sweet people. I got to talking to the guy and noticed on his arm he had a tattoo that said "Live the life you love, Love the life you live". (See pic below) I thought to myself how simple and true this is. How strong those words are "Love", "Life" and "Live"! If we can all live this quote and feel these words, we will all be happier people.
As I was enjoying that moment and sipping on a cold beverage in an instant the other side of my brain asked this question...then why are so many of us unhappy with different aspects of our lives? Not living the life we love and not loving the life we live?...whether it be our jobs, relationships, health or just enjoying a concert.
Is it that we just get caught up in the routine and don't take time to go out, pay attention and do what resonates with our hearts?
Believe me, I know it's not always easy. I get cranky, frustrated and upset about my life too but when those times come for any of us we need to remember quotes like this one, truly believe it and listen to what the heart is wanting.
Repeat that quote to yourself a couple times and see how it makes you feel and then ask these questions. Are you living the life you love? and are you loving the life you live? If not, maybe it's time to!
P.S What an amazing feeling it was walking around and hearing my song being blasted from a random car stereo in the parking lot of the concert. Thanks to you guys for making my day!
